ve always been interested in geometry; patterns in nature as well as in architecture and space. I chose to use a horizontal format that encompasses one's peripheral vision and a small format where scale creates the sense of larger space. Familiar, generic streets are rendered without figures or foliage in surprising color which belies the supposed grayness of "city." I am after a visual memory of place stripped down to pure geometry and color.
